Nakatsu Bansho-en

Nakatsu Bansho-en
Daimyo Park was created in 1688. The name Daimyou Park (Feudal Lord Park) comes from the historical background, where powerful warriors of the Edo period were struggling to assert their power, and built Japanese gardens as a part of that competition. The scenery is lovely. The park is spacious and features a lake that is designed to resemble Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest lake. There are eight islands, connected by a bridge, and you can take in the beauty while walking around.
