The natural path from Shiromine-ji Temple (No. 81) to Negoro-ji Temple (No. 82) in the mountains of "Goshikidai", a trapezoidal mountain range straddling Takamatsu City and Sakaide City in Kagawa Prefecture, is protected as a nationally designated historic site, "the Sanuki Pilgrim Path — Negoro-ji Temple Path" It is known as a nature-rich hiking route with well maintained and relatively few ups and downs. Along the way, there are old markers, stones and rest huts built for the pilgrims, which tell the history of the pilgrimage. Walk the pilgrimage route with a guide, refresh yourself in nature and experience Shikoku's pilgrimage culture by praying at the fuda-sho and receiving a lecture on the history and culture of the pilgrimage!
