Anpanman Museum

Anpanman Museum
Yanase Takashi, known as cartoonist, picture book author and designer, grew up in Kochi Prefecture. This Memorial Hall is an art museum where you can see his original Anpanman drawings. This is a great experience, not only for children, but the adults will enjoy as well. There is Yanase Takashi Ho-no-Ki Park, where he is buried, just five minutes drive away.

The Anpanman Museum has exhibits of Anpanman artwork and other picture books. There is also a theatre where you can watch old anime episodes. At the ‘Shi to Meruhen E-hon-kan’ you can see the cover illustrations and cuts of the magazine he started.
