Shido Bay, located in the center of Sanuki city, is a famous site for oyster production. The winter dining treat here is to grill freshly harvested oysters around the bay and eat one’s fill. Watanabe is so popular that they are completely flooded with reservations in the winter months. Oysters are put on the huge griddle with the shell on and they are grilled until done. They are eaten with any of available toppings, lemon, soy sauce, butter, cheese.

Griddle-fried oysters in the winter, fish dishes in the summer
