Muroto-misaki
Located in the southeastern area of Shikoku, Muroto-misaki juts out into the Pacific Ocean in a v-shape. The coast is punctuated by boulders, and you will be impressed with the National Natural Site tropical forest and coastal vegetation. In 2011, it was approved as a Global Geoparks Network member. The Muroto UNESCO Global Geopark encompasses the entire administrative district of Muroto City, with a total area of 248.20 ㎢.
