A spectacular 352-meter-high viewpoint where cherry blossoms, hydrangeas, and the island-dotted Seto Inland Sea come together.

Mt. Shiude rises 352 meters above the Shonai Peninsula in Mitoyo, Kagawa. From the summit observation deck, visitors can take in sweeping views of the islands and calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea. Cherry blossoms color the mountain in spring, followed by hydrangeas in early summer, creating a different harmony of flowers and island scenery with each season.

About 40 minutes by car from Mitoyo-Tossaka IC on the Takamatsu Expressway. Traffic restrictions apply during cherry blossom season, and private vehicles generally require advance reservations.
By public transportation
About 40 minutes by taxi from JR Takuma Station. During cherry blossom season, visitors hiking to the summit can take the community bus to Ohama, then follow the Shikoku-no-Michi trail for approximately 90 minutes.
