Ritsurin Garden is the largest Cultural Property Garden in all of Japan, and is an important cultural asset that has been maintained for nearly 400 years.

The shrine is dedicated to Minoyama Daimyōjin, also known as Tazaburō Tanuki, the chief of all tanuki (raccoon dogs) in Shikoku. He is revered as a deity of fertility, matchmaking, and family harmony.

From the lava plateau that looks like a roof, you can look out over the Seto Inland Sea, as it blends together with the islands and cityscape of Takamatsu. The drive to the summit is very popular, as you look out over the location where the famous Kagawa product aji stone is produced.

This multi-purpose commercial complex, a renovated street of warehouses, is located 10 minutes walk from Sun Port Takamatsu near the sea. Warehouses line the back streets, and the relaxed and free atmosphere makes it popular with the young generations.

The torii gate, also known as the "Torii in the sky", is a spectacular sight that cannot be seen anywhere else, standing as if it were floating in the sky with the blue Seto Inland Sea in the background.

Chichibugahama is a beautiful, 1km-long stretch of beach located in Mitoyo City. Called the "Heavenly Mirror of the Seto Inland Sea", the low tide on windless days creates the perfect place to take a once-in-a-lifetime photo.

This is a popular shrine, commonly known as Konpira-san. There is an extremely long staircase, consisting of 1,368 steps. At the bottom, there are cafes, teahouses, souvenir shops, udon shops and many other in this lively area. When you have ascended the staircase to the mid-way point (785 steps), you will find the Hongu, the center of the shrine.
